Because Morpheus 8 is RF technology and not laser, almost everyone is a candidate who wishes to maintain a youthful look or those looking at any of the treatment concerns that Morpheus8 can address. Individuals with a pacemaker, internal defibrillator or another electronic implant anywhere in the body are not candidates for Morpheus8. Pro-Nox is similar to laughing gas and can have a very big impact on making the Morpheus treatment more pleasant for the individual.  Pro-Nox is self-administered and controlled by the individual and creates a temporary dream-like state while the procedure is being completed.  The Pro-Nox effects end immediately after removing the tube from your mouth.  The patient is safe to drive within 10 minutes of stopping Pro-Nox.

Morpheus8 can be used on any areas that can benefit from sub-dermal renewal. The most commonly treated areas include the lower face and neck. Areas of the face and body that exhibit wrinkles, discoloration, or acne scarring are suitable for treatment. 

The benefit of Morpheus8’s color-blind technology is that it can be used on all skin types. The unique properties allow even darker tones to be treated.

Yes, Morpheus8 can be used in the same treatment session or a few days after other treatments. Great treatments to pair with Morpheus8 include Forma and PRP. 

While results may be seen in as little as one treatment, optimal results can require a series of treatments conducted over a period of several weeks. A better answer can be provided at the time of your consultation. Our providers will discuss your concerns and goals and observe the condition of your skin.

In cases where more than one treatment is needed, the procedures will be spaced 3-6 weeks apart. This will allow for complete tissue recovery. After completion of your treatment plan, the skin will continue to improve over the next 3-6 months as the body continues to build collagen. 

Following the Morpheus8 procedure, most patients can anticipate being back to normal activities within 24-48 hours. Minor swelling, redness, and soreness over the treatment area are not uncommon but should not interfere with your daily routine. Some patients may experience temporary bruising. Tiny scabs may also appear on the treatment area which should not be or scratched. Itching at the site of the treatment can start immediately or several days to weeks following a Morpheus8 procedure as the tissue continues to heal and repair itself.  It is important not to scratch the area but use an anti-itch regimen recommended by our provider. Skin sensitivity and dryness can be expected for 1-2 weeks following the treatment. It is important to use a daily moisturizer and to apply sunscreen while outdoors to prevent damage to the healing skin. 

Visible results can be seen within a few days, but typically after three weeks the most noticeable results appear. Improvements continue for up to three – six months after treatment.
